2010.06 CANOPY: Recent Works

Combining a 'hyper pop' colour spectrum with imagery, layered over a foundation of Pacific Island influenced patterns, I have challenged the super flat nature of screen printing using devices such as cut out relief's and layering of acrylic to achieve an illusion of depth / faux 3D.

2010.06 HILTON CAIRNS: Four Canoes

I was recently commissioned to do an artwork for the foyer of Hilton Cairns. I created a 7.2m high acrylic sculpture representing Hilton’s visitors, who come from every corner of the globe with inspiration coming from the Pacific Island Tapa cloth.
